Portia and Sibylla

Writing fiction is odd.

Writing fiction with another author is also pretty odd.

Writing fiction with another author you've never met and have only communicated with via email as a fictional character is downright bizarre.

But that's what Lia did with Emma Salkild.

Over two months, they created the story of Portia and Sibylla, a story via correspondence between a celebrity chef and her fan. In addition to it being a great experience, the story also won the AusLit Epistolary Novel Partnership competition. Whoo!

Curious? It's now been released as a free download. Go here to read Lia's chef (Sibylla) to Emma's Portia.... And if you get the urge to eat cold creme brulee straight from the fridge, don't say we didn't warn you.
